sorry for the delay on updating about the program...
the program "Unlabel to Understand" was an outreach program by Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation (KDSF) National Centre in conjunction with their 25th anniversary.. an array of programs had been laid out including a book launch "Unlabel to Understand" which features the life story and achievements 26 children with Down syndrome, including our baby Iyad...
we had performances by the children and their teachers, story telling session and art and crafts session... we had a talk on Down syndrome by Dr Yong Junina, who later answered some doubts from parents regarding their children with Down syndrome..
we were there during the book launch and also during the weekends...Iyad had so much fun mingling around with the teachers and his friends and we exchanged experiences and stories with other parents as well..
the book is available for sale for RM125.. for those interested to buy, you can contact KDSF National Centre at +603 78030179 or email email@example.com
